Kogi state governor, Yahaya Bello has described members of the National Assembly that booed President Buhari during the budget presentation which held on Wednesday, December 19th, as “children who lack home training”.Speaking with state house correspondents after the Anchor Borrowers Programme Gala at the state house conference center in Abuja on Thursday, December 20th, Bello said;“First of all two distinct human beings, a father, a gentleman, a man who has the interest of the country at heart, President Muhammadu Buhari displaced his stuff on Wednesday and those who are self-centered, selfish and bent on destroying this country and the democracy have also shown themselves.“This is what I said sometimes back that when you have a child that is not well trained by his parents he constitutes menace to the society and that is exactly what we witnessed today in the National Assembly. National Assembly is suppose to be made of men and women of character and integrity. We have seen those that constitute such class of human beings and those that constitute menace to the society in the National Assembly today. But above all, I thank God, I thank Mr. President for a wonderful presentation of 2019 budget estimates. We all believe it’s going to take Nigeria to the next level by the special grace of God.

Heated argument ensues after popular brand consultant says women don't enjoy cooking

Subomi Plumptre, of Alder Consulting, shared some controversial tweets that have resulted in heated arguments on Twitter. The popular brand consultant wrote:Many women are like me - cooking is a trial & tribulation. We don't enjoy it. But "culture" guilts us into doing it. I was set free by a friend. She told me she stopped cooking the day it dawned on her that she had no point to prove. She could cook. She simply chooses not to.She added:That day, I learnt a very important lesson - no one needs to know your business really. You don't need to take permission to live your life or announce your independence to the world. Just live.  As expected, she had people who shared her views and a lot who didn't, resulting in a heated Twitter debate about gender roles.See some of the reactions below.
