Photos: South African woman who was raped from age 10 by her uncle's son shares her struggle with Depression and surviving suicide attempts

A 24-year-old South African woman, Busisiwe Mhlongo has been battling depression and PSTD  as a result of repeated sexual abuse by her uncle's son. Taking to Facebook on November 22, Busisiwe, opened up for the first time and narrated how her uncle's son had raped her vaginally and anally from age 10, when she was in grade 4 to grade 6. She didn't tell anyone because the young man threatened to kill her with Ratex (rat poison)  Ever since the incident, Busisiwe had been struggling mentally and emotionally and tried to take her own life several times. Read her story as she shared on Facebook below.  Some of my family members will be shocked but hey I am tired of keeping this secret because it is making me to be sick but here it goes My Name is Busisiwe Mhlongo and I am 24 years old... born in 1994/09/18 ♥... in 2004 I was staying at my Uncles house in Harding,KZN..his First born son (we call him Sphamo) who was 17/18 years at that time would call me to his room and rape me (I was 10 years old).. this started when I doing grade 4 until I was doing grade 6, around June because that’s when I had my periods for the first time but he did Rape me Vaginally and anally. he did a lot of things that I wouldn’t like to re-iterate here.. I stayed with someone who sexually abused me and I didn’t tell anyone because he said he was going to kill me with Ratex. I kept that secret until this year cause I was struggling mentally and emotionally, Back in February I attempted to commit suicide, overdosed pills-in April I overdosed pills again- In June I starved myself hoping to die- in August I overdosed pills again- in September I attempted to jump out my Res but the security saw me and I couldn’t cause he said Jump I will catch you- in October I started cutting myself from my hand to my elbow and if I feel like the razor isn’t sharp enough I would get another one- I did it until it was beyond my control and I was admitted and of course Psychiatry Ward was my ward, stayed there for weeks and was diagnosed with depression and PSTD....Generally if you know me- I am a Happy person and I love everything about everyone, to be diagnosed with depression was heavy for me and the medication is just too much. My mom and my other family members are aware of this now that have done drastic things. I have never got a call from my cousin say he is sorry. What he did to me was damaging physically, emotionally and sexually. He robbed me my childhood and virginity, I will never be able to know what it’s like to be a child because of the things he did to me, he used a baby oil so that his penis would go in, he would put baby inside me so I can be “wet for him”. He did it for 3 years and he was never satisfied. I have been struggling to even wake up in the morning and eat, let alone to trust a man, I am struggling to believe that I will be fine because depression is not a fly by night thing I am living with depression and PSTD............. I have lost everything you can think of and if I win this battle - it’s game over for my cousin! I am coming for everything and  I know this wil be a lot of drama but I am not going to protect a rapist...

''This is shameful and hypocritical'' Freeze reacts to dedication of wolrd's biggest church auditorium in Abuja

On Saturday, the biggest church auditorium in the world was dedicated in Abuja. In a post shared on his Instagram page this afternoon, OAP and leader of the Free the Sheeple Movement, Freeze, says it is shameful and hypocritical for Nigeria to have the largest church auditorium when the country cannot boast of the largest schools or hospital.  Read his post belowNIGERIA ABSOLUTELY DOES NOT NEED THIS!-These clowns need to stop feeding their egos and start feeding their congregations.-The largest ship building company in the world is the Hyundai Heavy industries located in South Korea , a country only 3 years older than Nigeria.-Airbus is one of the largest aircraft manufacturing companies in the world and it is based in the Netherlands.-Walmart is one of the largest retail stores in the world, employing about 2 million people. It is based in the US.-Volkswagen is one of the worlds largest car manufactures, it employs 555,000 people and is based in Germany.-If we don’t have the largest School in the world or the largest hospital in the world or any of the largest factories in the world, I think opening the largest Pentecostal business center in the world is shameful and hypocritical especially when it comes from the poverty capital of the world. ~FRZ-#FreeTheSheepleThe post.

22 people die, 60 others missing as boat capsizes in Uganda

22 people die, 60 others missing asboat capsizes in UgandaTwenty-two people have died and more than 60 are feared drowned after a pleasure boat sank on Lake Victoria, Uganda. The vessel carrying close to a hundred revellers sank during bad weather on Saturday in the latest deadly incident to affect passenger boats on Africa’s largest lake.   “Twenty-two bodies have been recovered and 26 people rescued,” said Asuman Mugenyi, director of operations for the Uganda police. According to one of the survivors there were more than 90 people on board.  The boat, on which party-goers were drinking, dancing and listening to music, sank a short distance from the shore off Mutima in Mukono District, close to the capital Kampala. Mugenyi said overloading and bad weather were likely to blame.   “We expect (the number of passengers) is beyond the capacity of the boat. It was overloaded and unfortunately people were drunk. We suspect the mechanical condition of the boat and the weather contributed to the sinking. A big storm hit,” said local government official Richard Kikongo. Lake Victoria is the site of many boat disasters. In September, hundreds died when the MV Nyerere passenger ferry sank on the Tanzanian side of Lake Victoria. With a surface area of 70,000 square kilometres (27,000 square miles), oval-shaped Lake Victoria is roughly the size of Ireland and is shared by Tanzania, Uganda and Kenya.

Robert Mugabe is 'sick' and 'unable to walk' -A President Emmerson Mnangagwa

Robert Mugabe is 'sick'and'unable to walk' -President Emmerson Mnangagwa President Emmerson Mnangagwa of Zimbabwe has said his predecessor, Robert Mugabe, 94, is sick and unable to walk because of ill health adding that Mugabe has been in Singapore for treatment for an undisclosed illness for the past two months. Mnangagwa became head of state a year ago after Mugabe was ousted following the intervention of the army. Mugabe had been in power for 37 years, first as prime minister, then as president. He led the movement for Zimbabwean independence from white minority rule. President Mnangagwa was addressing a rally in his predecessor's home town when he talked about the former leader's health saying "he is now old. Of course, he now is unable to walk but whatever he asks for we will provide," the AFP news agency quotes him as saying.   Despite being unable to walk, Mr Mnangagwa said the former leader was feeling better and would be back in the country next week. "We are looking after him. He is the founding father of the nation of Zimbabwe. He is our founding father of free Zimbabwe," the president said. The government is paying for Mr Mugabe's treatment. After taking over from him last year, Mnangagwa won a disputed presidential election in July.
