Popular OAP & Hypeman, Oladotun Kayode aka 'The Energy gAD' releases new images

Popular OAP & Hypeman Oladotun Kayode aka The Energy gAD releases new imagesDotun has successfully carved out a niche within a diverse entertainment industry. The intent of the shoot was to showcase and story-tell Dotun’s many presenting-styles as Alter-egos through fashion. Starting with the good, the corporate smooth look, followed by the bad, with the attire showing an affinity for martial arts and space travel. Finally the energy, with the use of fire and illumination. All these showcase his daring character to be different. This is the evolution of the Energy gAD. The Evolution of HypeDotun observed in his hosting career, a lack of ‘parties with life’ and the Nigerian notion of ‘sit and be seen’ or ‘just be there’. He saw an opportunity to carve out a niche. He saw in his own personality a catalyst and portal to bring the energy to the party-space, by creating an Alter-ego that channelled his God-given energy and control. Not only has Dotun been able to master the skill of crowd-control, he has tapped into our reciprocal human energy to be controlled in the euphoria of a crowd. This very powerful mix has been the success behind this now established brand.Like Sàngó, the Ife god who was the 4th king that ruled as the Alaafin of Oyo. Sango was known to have controlled Thunder. ‘f èdùn kó lè b’ ebè isu’ , meaning the one who uses the thunderbolt to till the earth into heaps like those for planting yams. This powerful simile and constant improvement of Dotun’s brand means the genre of Hype is here to stay. Where, in previous times, on stage, the Hypeman’s role was to support the music Artist, Dotun has shown through precedence that he can be the forefront, even without the Artist. He ensures the event/party has the influence and energy required. This is Oladotun Kayode, this is the Energy gAD.  About Oladotun KayodeOladotun Ojuolape Kayode (Born April 8, 1984) is a Nigerian On-Air Personality, Video Jockey, Event Host/Master of Ceremonies, Hypeman, Actor and Media Entrepreneur, popularly known as Do2dTun (Pronounced D-O-To-The-T-U-N).After pioneering a dance group called Xtreme dancers while in the University and featuring in na- tionwide viral music videos like D’banj’s Why Me and Same Ni by Dj Zeez, Dotun came to wider prominence as one of the best TV/Radio Personality the African continent has ever seen endearing himself to fans as host of shows like Soundcity’s greatest countdown on earth and some of the biggest concerts on the continent and beyond. Scope of Services• Radio Presenter• Master of Ceremonies • Hypeman• Creative Director• Actor  For media requests:Nwosu Somto +234 902 861 9845 bookings@therealenergygad.com ecleftic.entertainment@gmail.comImages available onlinehttps://bit.ly/2qV12RD https://ift.tt/2FJYK2i :The Editorial Shoot was shot by exclaimed Photographer Emmanuel Oyeleke and styled by equally re-nowned Fashion-stylist Jane Michael Ekanem.Photography / ConceptEmmanuel Oyeleke @emmanueloyelekeFashion & StylingJane Micheal Ekanam @janemmichaelekanemCreative Director/MuseOladotun Kayode @do2dtun @therealenergygadCreative Director/Story BoardTosin Oshinowo @tosin.oshinowo

South Africa increases its minimum wage to N126,480

As the Federal government continues to debate whether or not to increase the miniumum wage from N18, 000 to N30, 000, the South African government has gone ahead to increase that of it's civil servants from N97, 495 to N126,480 per month. South African President, Cyril Ramaphosa, who signed the new minimum wage into law yesterday November 26th, said the new wage would take effect from January 1st 2019 and would benefit about six million workers that currently earn R3,700 (N97,495). One South African Rand is equivalent to N26.35. This means South African workers would be earning N527 per hour: N4,216 per day and N126,480 per month. Their Nigerian counterparts currently earn N75 per hour, which is N600 per day (at eight working hours per day) and N18,000 per month.Recall that the sytate governors and the labour unions have been at loggerheads over the demand for the increase in minimum wage. While the Labour unions are demanding that the minimum wage be increased to N30, 000, the state governors have said the only way they can afford the N30k being demanded for is by downsizing the civil service, a position that has since been rejected by the Labour unions.A 24-year-old man, Godwin Banchir, who beat his 65-years-old mother to death for not responding to his greetings, was, yesterday sentenced to death by hanging by Plateau High Court, sitting in Jos.Read more at: https://ift.tt/2SgkQun 24-year-old man, Godwin Banchir, who beat his 65-years-old mother to death for not responding to his greetings, was, yesterday sentenced to death by hanging by Plateau High Court, sitting in Jos.
