Cardi B and Offset Break Up After 1 Year of Marriage

Offset, Cardi B, Jingle Ball 2018
On Tuesday evening, the "Bodak Yellow" rapper took to Instagram with a big announcement for her fans.
As it turns out, the Grammy nominee and Offset are not together anymore.
"So everybody been bugging me and everything and you know, I've been trying to work things out with my baby father for a hot minute now and we're really good friends and you know we're really good business partners," Cardi B explained in her video. "He's always somebody that I run to to talk to and we got a lot of love for each other but things just haven't been working out between us for a long time and it's nobody's fault."
She continued, "I guess we grew out of love, but we're not together anymore. I don't know. It might take time to get a divorce and I'm gonna always have a lot of love for him because he is my daughter's father and yah."
Cardi B captioned the post, "There you go…peace and love." Offset would comment by writing "Y'all won."
The Hollywood couple, who are proud parents to a four-month-old daughter named Kulture, secretly got married in September 2017 with a frills-free ceremony. In fact, Cardi B didn't confirm the wedding until June 2018.
"Our relationship was so new breaking up and making up and we had a lot of growing to do but we was so in love we didn't want to lose each other," she shared on Twitter at the time. "We found someone to marry us, and she did, just the two of us and my cousin. I said I do, with no dress, no makeup and no ring!"
Today's breakup may come as a surprise to fans. After all, the pair attended 102.7 KIISFM's Jingle Ball concert last weekend at the Forum in Inglewood, Calif., where they had a PDA-filled performance.
"Thank you husband. He's so fine," she told the crowd after singing "Ric Flair Drip" together. "That's my baby daddy yo."
Shortly after Cardi B's announcement, Offset revealed on Instagram Stories that he will be "dropping a song tomo."
Perhaps fans will learn more about what led to the breakup.

Pete Davidson has blocked his ex-Ariana Grande on social media in an effort to 'distance himself' from her drama

Pete Davidson has blocked his ex-Ariana Grande on social media in an effort to 'distance himself' from her dramaPop singer, Ariana Grande, has revealed that her ex-fiance, comedian Pete Davidson has blocked her on social media. This comes after the SNL comedian opened up about being bullied by Ariana's fans on Instagram and how the harsh comments were affecting his mental health.'I’ve kept my mouth shut. Never mentioned any names, never said a word about anyone or anything. I’m trying to understand how when something happens to a guy the whole entire world just trashes him without any facts or frame of reference. Especially in today’s climate where everybody loves to be offended and upset it truly is mind-boggling.”I've been getting online bullied and in public by people for 9months. I've spoken about BPD and being suicidal publicly only in the hopes that it  will help bring awareness and help kids like myself who don't want to be on this earth, 'No matter how hard the internet or anyone tries to make me kill myself. I won’t. I’m upset I even have to say this. To all those holding me down and seeing this for ehat it is -I see you and I love you, he added.Pete's statement left his ex-fiance with no other option than to call on her fans to be kind to him. But the singer also admitted that she couldn't see any of the hate messages because Pete has already blocked her on social media.'I haven’t seen any of [the bullying] because I’m blocked but I want you to know that I would never want or encourage that ever and you should know that. I care about him deeply,' the songstress wrote. But according to an insider who spoke with Us Weekly on Tuesday, it was revealed that the SNL comedian blocked his ex on social because he wants to 'distance himself from her narrative for his health,'

China unveils Nelson Mandela statue to mark diplomatic relations with South Africa

A bust sculpture of Nelson Mandela, known as Madiba in South Africa, was unveiled at the Beijing Jintai Arts Museum  to commemorate 100 years since Mandela’s birth. It was also  used to mark 20 years of diplomatic relations between South Africa and China. The bust and inscription were contributed to by the SA Embassy in Beijing and Consulates General in Shanghai and Hong Kong. SA Minister of Arts and Culture Mr. Nathi Mthethwa was present as a guest of honor alongside other senior government officials. During the unveiling, the national anthems of the Republic of South Africa and the People’s Republic of China were played, and a number of guests placed flowers under the statue. 2018 marks 100 years since the birth of Nelson Mandela. The former South African President is globally renowned for his selfless contribution to the global struggle against oppression and the fight against apartheid in South Africa. “Globally, Madiba is renowned for his role as a great negotiator and a living symbol of reconciliation. He is a symbol of unity in a country, South Africa, which is courageously grappling with the legacy of a vicious past,” Mthethwa said during his speech. He explained that when Mandela and his compatriots were jailed for life in 1964, China was among the countries that sent protest notes and called for their release. Subsequently, China was one of the countries that Mandela visited after his release from prison. Given the historical ties between South Africa and China, said Mthethwa, it was Mandela who embraced and ultimately promoted the one-China diplomatic policy, which saw South Africa and China establish diplomatic relations on Jan. 1, 1998. During her speech before the unveiling, Ambassador Dolana Msimang said, “It is most fitting that we celebrate our 20 year anniversary together with Madiba’s centenary, as he was the main architect who built, shaped and nurtured our relations with China.”

The Catholic Church has distanced itself from controversial clergyman and Spiritual Director of the Adoration Ministry, Enugu, Rev. Fr. Ejike Mbaka, who in a recent video, was seen berating former Anambra state governor and PDP Vice Presidential candidate, Peter Obi, for refusing to openly donate to his ministry.Yesterday, a video of Father Mbaka verbally attacking Peter Obi for not saying how much he was donating to his ministry at his church's bazaar and annual harvest service, went viral. Read here.In the video, Father Mbaka  said neither the PDP presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, nor President Muhammadu Buhari of the All Progressives Congress, willld win the 2019 presidential election.“Listen, so that we won’t be deceiving God. As you are standing in the presence of these children of God, tell God what you will do for Him… It means you don’t want to do anything for God. Let me believe in fear, but this is a political statement. God hates stinginess. What I am saying is not for your pleasure. I am saying what will save your life, otherwise, you and Atiku will fail. The way you and Atiku are moving will end in shame.” he saidReacting to the controversy that the video has generated, the Director of Communications, Catholic Diocese of Enugu, Rev. Fr. Benjamin Achi, in an interview with The PUNCH, said the diocese was not in support of Mbaka's comments and that it was wrong for any priest to make political statements.“The diocese is not in support of any priest making political statements. The church is supposed to be apolitical and the Bishops’ conference has said that repeatedly. We are not supposed to make any political statements from the pulpit within the context of Mass, that is, church service. So, it would be wrong to stand at the pulpit to make any political statements. There is a document issued by the Bishops’ conference to that effect. So, he just spoke on his own, not representing the diocese. We are not expected to come out openly to support a particular candidate for any reason. The church law does not accept such a thing. So, it would be wrong for anybody (priest) to come out and give an endorsement to a particular candidate.” he saidSpeaking further, Achi said that disciplinary action against Mbaka would be carried out by the priest’s administrative head if the need arises.
