Manchester United v Tottenham: What Mourinho did to journalists after 3-0 loss

Manchester United boss, Jose Mourinho clashed with a journalists during his post-match press conference on Monday.

This was after he led his side to a 3-0 defeat to Tottenham Hotspur.

The Portuguese called for more ‘respect’ from the British media.

Mourinho took offence when the score line of the game was pointed out to him and the former Chelsea boss, however, recounted his own achievements in the Premier League in comparison to the other managers in England’s top flight.

After the journalists reminded him that his side had lost 3-0, he said, “Just to finish, do you know the result?”

Holding up three fingers, he added, “3-0. 3-0. Do you know what this means?

“3-0. It also means, 3 Premierships and I won more Premierships alone than the other 19 managers together.

“Three for me… and two for them.”

As he stormed out of the room, he said, “Respect. Respect. Respect. Respect.”

Tottenham cruised to victory through goals from Harry Kane and Lucas Moura.

Mauricio Pochettino’s side are now level on point with Liverpool, Chelsea and Watford at the top of the Premier League table.
