There's an ongoing Twitter argument about who created sex, what purpose
it was created for, and the situation in which it's OK to have sex.It
all began after a lady tweeted that sex was created by God only for
married people. Someone else countered her tweet by saying sex is
evolutionary and wasn't created by God neither was it created for
married people. Twitter users quickly took sides. Some agreed with the
lady that sex outside marriage is wrong and they used the bible to
defend their stance. Those in support of sex outside marriage used
animals as an example to explain that sex is a basic human instinct that

Today, an Ilorin Chief Magistrates’ Court ordered that two men, Samson
John and Ayodele Oluwagbemiga, be remanded in Federal Prison yard for
allegedly stealing a cellphone belonging to a High Court Judge. Chief
Magistrate Ibijoke Olawoyin, gave the order after the accused persons
were charged with four counts of criminal conspiracy, trespass, house
breaking, and theft. He adjourned the case until Dec. 20, for further
mention. Earlier, the Prosecutor, Insp Alhassan Jibrin told the court
that on Nov. 22, one Sgt. Usman Olayinka attached to High Court Judge in
Basin area, Ilorin, reported the case at the Area Command office of the
police in Ilorin. Jibrin said that the complainant, alleged that the
accused who is a security guard in the judge’s house, and one other,
broke into the judge’s house and stole one Samsung Galaxy phone, valued
at N300,000, some jewelries valued yet unknown and the sum of N10,000.
The prosecutor said that the police followed the accused to his home
town in Otupa, Benue and arrested him for interrogation. Jibrin said
that during police investigation, the accused confessed in his
statement that he used the security room toilet key to open the main
door and gained entrance into the judge’s room, and stole the items. He
said that the accused also confessed to have sold the Samsung Galaxy
phone for N10,000 to one Micheal at Asoka village, Benue, who is now
at-large, and sold the jewelries at the rate of N7,000 to the second
accused person at Fakeye street, Basin, Ilorin. The prosecutor said that
the offence contravened the provisions of sections 97, 348, 288 and 317
of the penal code law.

Justice Valentine Ashi of a Federal Capital Territory High Court,
sitting in Apo, Abuja, on December 4, 2018, ordered the Economic and
Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, the Nigerian Police Force, the
Department of States Security Service and all other security agencies to
apprehend and arrest a former Minister of Petroleum Resources, Diezani
Alison Madueke within 72 hours. According to a statement released by
EFCC, the order was made following a motion ex parte made before the
court by counsel to the EFCC, Msuur Denga, praying for an order of the
court to issue a warrant of arrest against Madueke to enable the
Commission apprehend and arraign her for alleged financial crimes in

former minister along with Jide Omokore, a former Chairman, Atlantic
Energy Drilling Company, following a petition dated October 2, 2013,
from Coalition Against Corrupt Leaders, CACOL, bordering on money
laundering and official corruption.Investigations into the petition
revealed that Madueke as supervising minister of the Nigerian National
Petroleum Corporation, was found to have engaged in illicit and
monumental fraudulent dealings in oil transactions, which she entered
into on behalf of the Federal Government.Madueke and Omokore, are also
alleged to have accepted and given gifts in properties located at
Penthouse 22, Block B, Admiralty Estate, Ikoyi, and Penthouse 21,
Building 5, Block C, Banana Island, Lagos. They are to be arraigned on
February 25, 2019 on a five-count charge for the offences, which are
contrary to Sections 26(1) of the Corrupt Practices and Other Related
Offences Act, 2000.Recall that when the matter came up on December 3,
2018 the Commission however filed application for warrant of arrest,
condition precedent for Deziani’s extradition protocol to bring her back
home to face trail.The prosecution told the court that Diezani, who is
currently in the United Kingdom, jetted out of the country while
investigations into the alleged fraudulent acts were ongoing.The court
today, granted the ex parte motion, and ordered the security agencies to
provide Madueke within 72 hours, for her to face the charge preferred
against her."The Inspector General of Police, the Chairman of the EFCC,
the Attorney General, the Department of State Services, are hereby
ordered in the name of the President, Federal Republic of Nigeria to
apprehend and arrest the first defendant and produce her before this
court for further directives within 72 hours", the judge held.

this day, 4th Dec. 1988, I ventured in trepidation onto the grand stage
of the National Theatre, Lagos, as a contestant in the MOST BEAUTIFUL
GIRL IN NIGERIA PAGEANT by Silverbird Productions. By the grace of God I
won the contest. I was then a law undergraduate at the University of
Nigeria. The rest, as they say, is history. Then it was the era of
‘winner takes all’ as pageant winner. From there I took off to Banjul,
where the MISS AFRICA Pageant was held and I once again emerged the
Winner. Next was the MISS CHARM Contest in Moscow which saw me emerge as
Miss Drushbah. After that was the MISS INTERCONTINENTAL Pageant. I am
the ever African ever to have won this Pageant. This was an awesome
experience which provided a wonderful opportunity to visit over 20
countries of the world in the space of one year of my ‘reign’( a great
privilege for a mere student) including 12 European countries as well
as several other world destinations including Singapore, Japan,Russia,
Taipei, Dubai, Republic Of China, Hong Kong where I represented Nigeria
at the MISS WORLD beauty Pageant and Cancun, Mexico where I was the
Country’s representative at the MISS UNIVERSE Pageant. It is to God’s
glory that I went this far. Today, as always, I continue to celebrate
the amazing opportunities God has thrown along my path in life. This is
just one of them. 
Kaduna State Governor, Nasir Ahmad El-Rufai on Tuesday, received Hafsah
Dauda at the Government House. Hafsah is visually impaired but was able
to study Law at the Ahmadu Bello University and was recently called to

Maje Ayida's defamation lawsuit againt Toke Makinwa went before a judge
in Lagos today and it is super explosive and messy. Ayida is suing Toke
Makinwa over claims made in her book 'On Becoming', that he infected her
with Sexually Transmitted Infections while they were married. In
today's court session, Toke's lawyer, a Senior Advocate of Nigeria was
able to get Maje to admit to having unprotected sex with other women
while still married to his client. Maje however stated that all this
happened when he and Toke were having fallouts during different stages
of their relationships. In the book which became a best seller after it
was released, Toke accused Maje of adultery, infecting her with sexually
transmitted diseases among other allegations.Maje in his court papers,
said that Toke's book brought public ridicule to him and that his
reputation has been assaulted, injured and damaged. He also argued that
his professional integrity as one of the leading health and wellness
practitioners in Nigeria, and his professional credibility built over
the years through dedicated hard work was nearly destroyed.Part of
Maje's demands was for Toke to "Withdraw from circulation all copies of
the book and take immediate steps to call in all copies of the book
already distributed. The case was called up for hearing today and an eye
