Maje Ayida denies infecting Toke Makinwa with STIs but admits under oath to being a womanizer & having unprotected sex with various women

Maje Ayida's defamation lawsuit againt Toke Makinwa went before a judge in Lagos today and it is super explosive and messy. Ayida is suing Toke Makinwa over claims made in her book 'On Becoming', that he infected her with Sexually Transmitted Infections while they were married. In today's court session, Toke's lawyer, a Senior Advocate of Nigeria was able to get Maje to admit to having unprotected sex with other women while still married to his client. Maje however stated that all this happened when he and Toke were having fallouts during different stages of their relationships. In the book which became a best seller after it was released, Toke accused Maje of adultery, infecting her with sexually transmitted diseases among other allegations.Maje in his court papers, said that Toke's book brought public ridicule to him and that his reputation has been assaulted, injured and damaged. He also argued that his professional integrity as one of the leading health and wellness practitioners in Nigeria, and his professional credibility built over the years through dedicated hard work was nearly destroyed.Part of Maje's demands was for Toke to "Withdraw from circulation all copies of the book and take immediate steps to call in all copies of the book already distributed. The case was called up for hearing today and an eye witness shared it on Twitter.
