Meghan's father prepares for lonely Christmas at his Mexican home

Meghan Markle's father is preparing to spend his Christmas alone without his rift with his daughter getting fixed.Thomas Markle, 74, who had to miss out of his daughter's royal wedding in May and has not spoken to her since before the wedding, was photographed in Rosarito, his Mexican hideaway.As Meghan Markle prepares to celebrate Christmas with the royal family, Thomas Markle Sr was photographed by DailyMail in Rosarito, just across the Mexican border from San Diego, California. In the photo, he was seen tidying his car outside his seafront home, preparing for  Christmas.  On the other hand, his daughter, the Duchess of Sussex, who is pregnant with her first child, is spending Christmas at the Queen's country home, Sandringham, in Norfolk, with her husband Prince Harry and his relatives for a holiday steeped in royal tradition. This will be Meghan's second Christmas at Sandringham House, in Norfolk, where the royals have been enjoying the Yuletide every year since 1888.Thomas Markle's other two children, Thomas Markle Jr. and Samantha, have urged Meghan to end the rift with her father, a rift which began after Thomas Sr. staged paparazzi photographs.  Both siblings have sent Christmas cards to their sister, Meghan, pleading with her to make peace with her family over the festive season.And her father used two interviews to try to reach out to her and asked the Queen to intervene and help him be reconciled to his daughter.
