So Sad! 8 Souls died on there way to a Wedding.
Eight people were reportedly killed by an auto crash on Saturday along the Keffi-Nasarawa road in Nasarawa state. The victims were said to be associates of the groom who is from Zamfara State. The wedding was scheduled to take place by 11 am on the same day, in Nasarawa town.
A witness disclosed that he along with others got to the scene a few minutes after 10 am.
However, a team of Federal Road Safety Corps, FRSC, officials were already at the scene which was about five kilometers to Nasarawa town. The Wedding Fatiha which was for a daughter of a former Senator, Abubakar Sodangi, was later conducted around 12 p.m. The Chief Imam of the town served as the groom’s representative (Walee) following the death of the original representatives in the accident.
