UNICEF Frown Awards: Human Rights Clinic (Faculty of Law, UNILAG) hosts the maiden editionErelu Bisi Fayemi, the wife to the Ekiti State Governor, is the guest speaker at the Frown Awards which will be held at the J.F. Ade-Ajayi Auditorium (Main Auditorium), UNILAG on the 28th of November, 2018. The Frown Awards 2018 focuses on frowning against Female Genital Mutilation (FGM), which is otherwise known as Female Circumcision.   The Frown Awards has been expanded to, not only celebrate the milestones of the FROWN CHALLENGE competition held between July 2017 and June 2018, but recognize people who have contributed or may be able to support the abandonment of FGM in Nigeria.This year's maiden edition of the Frown Awards is holding at the prestigious citadel of learning, UNILAG, on 28 November 2018 by 12:00 noon. The Frown Awards is an initiative of the Joint UNFPA/UNICEF Programme on Female Genital Mutilation Abandonment in Nigeria.
