On Tuesday, 27th November 2018, The Lagos State Emergency Management
Agency Response Unit, (LRU) Fire and Rescue Team
commenced a 4-week training session (twice in a week)for the Fire
Department of The Nigerian Army from the Resettlement Barracks Oshodi.
Earlier in the month, the LRU Firefighters were deployed to the
Resettlement Barracks on a rescue operation and displayed a
well-coordinated effort andstandard in discharging their duties. This
impressed the Army and thus they arranged for training sessions with the
LRU team.Avantgarde Management Services, (AMS,) technical partners to
LRU, has remarkably transformed the state's emergency response and
management services, and will continually partner with local communities
and all stakeholders in developing socially responsible
relationships. This training serves as a part of many more other
activities to attaining that.Below are some pictures from the first
