Osinbajo, Atiku, PDP governors grace burial of Dickson’s mother


PPD presidential candidate, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, Governor of Sokoto State, Aminu Tambuwal and his Rivers State counterpart, Nyiesom Wike, arriving the Toru-Angiama community for the burial ceremony of late Madam Goldcoast Dickson, mother of Governor Seriake Dickson of Bayelsa State.
Vice President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo and the presidential candidate of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in 2019 elections, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar are among the top personalities who graced the burial ceremony of Madam Goldcoast Dickson, late mother of the Bayelsa State Governor, Seriake Dickson at Toru-Angiama, in Patani local government area of Delta State.
Atiku’s running mate, Dr Peter Obi and Secretary to the government of the federation, Mr Boss Mustapha are also present at the burial.
Others are the governors of Edo State, Godwin Obaseki; Sokoto, Aminu Tambuwal, Okezie Ikpazu of Abia, and Dave Umahi of Ebonyi State.
Also in attendance is a former President Goodluck Jonathan, former governor of Sokoto State; Attahiru Bafarawa, Deputy Senate President; Ike Ekwremadu and several other personalities.
The funeral service is holding at the Enimieyi family compound chapel at Toru-Angiama.
Atiku, accompanied by PDP governors, arrived the venue on board a private chopper with several PDP governors and was received by his running mate, Peter Obi and supporters who were already on ground.
Late Madam Dickson died of cancer disease in America in August, 2018 at the age of 72.
